Open Courses
In Brightspace, you can follow self-study modules. Via the Open Courses button in the taskbar on the Brightspace homepage, you can discover the self-study modules on offer. You will only find modules here that have been made centrally available to teachers for self-study purposes. You will not find courses for regular education here. Courses that you are involved in as a teacher yourself can be found on the homepage or in the Course Selector in the minibar at the top of Brightspace.
How do I enroll for a self-study module?
- Click on Open Courses.
- Search by the name of the module.
- Click on the desired module.
After clicking on the module, click Enrol in Course to apply. A message will then appear saying you are enrolled. The module now can be found on your homepage of Brightspace.
Where do I see the courses I am enrolled in?
You can see the courses you are enrolled in when you click Browse All Content. You can then use the menu at the top right to filter. Via Already Enrolled, you can see all the courses you have enrolled in.
