How do I navigate within TrainTool?

It depends on your role (programme administrator or coach) how TrainTool looks like.

Programme administrator

When you log in as a programme administrator, you can view a programme and coaching overview.

Programmes

  1. Click Admin to view your programmes or to change your role (admin to coach and vice versa)
  2. Click Programs to go to the programme overview.
  3. Click on a programme to show/edit the content, trainees,  reports and settings of that programme.
  4. In the navbar you can go to:
    • Programs to see an overview of all your programmes
    • Reporting group to see an overview of all reporting groups.
    • Labels to see which labels you can add to a programme.

Coaching

  1. Click Admin to view your programmes or to change your role (admin to coach and vice versa)
  2. Click Coaching to go to the coaching overview.
  3. Go to the tab Coach Report to see how many feedback and assessment requests each coach has had and how much of them still have to be handled.
  4. Go to Coach Management to see an overview of all coaches, add new coaches or edit information from coaches.
  5. You can search for a specific coach.
  6. You can add a New coach.
  7. Hover your mouse over a coach and click on the pencil to edit the information of the coach.
Coach

In TrainTool a programme administrator can ask you to coach students (trainees). As a coach you will enter the coaching environment in TrainTool.

  1. Click Coach to view your programmes or to change your role (Admin to Coach and vice versa)

From the coaching page you can access:

  1. Feedback: Here you will find both feedback requests and given feedback from your students (trainees).
  2. Assessments: Here you will find assessment requests from your students and feedback that has been given earlier to an assessment request.
  3. Reports: Here you will find all final reports.
