Who can see my data?
Your portfolio environment in Portflow is a protected environment to which only you have access. You choose who you want to share the portfolio with. There are a few ways to give other people access to your portfolio: Sharing and creating a public link.
Be aware that your portfolio may contain personal information. Sharing personal information can be risky.
Therefore, the following urgent advices:
- Pay attention to what you share with whom within Portflow.
- Limit information sharing to those with whom you have a professional relationship, such as lecturers or potential employers and internship providers.
Why can’t I find a lecturer or fellow student when sharing a portfolio?
To find a lecturer or fellow student in Portflow, that person must have opened Portflow at least once. An account is automatically created the first time the app is used. Once the account has been created, the user becomes visible and you can share a portfolio.
Can’t find someone? Check that you’ve got the right name. If so, get in touch with the lecturer or fellow student and ask them to open Portflow to create an account
